About Africa Champion of Trees Awards
The Africa Champion of Trees (ACT) Awards is the first initiative of its kind in Kenya—a joint effort between the Kenya Forest Service and Blue Focus Africa—dedicated to recognizing individuals, organizations, communities, and institutions across Africa that are leading the way in tree growing, forest restoration, and building climate resilience.
Our Global & Continental Impact
The Africa Champion of Trees (ACT) Awards are more than a celebration—they are a call to action that directly supports Kenya’s 15 Billion Tree Initiative and contributes to Africa’s commitment under the AFR100 to restore 100 million hectares of land by 2030.
Through powerful partnerships and grassroots action, the ACT Awards align with eight key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that foster climate action, biodiversity, green jobs, and sustainable communities.
